Second Zoopharmacognosy Module in Madrid

How gratifying it is when so many people opt to continue their journey of exploration.  Last weekend in Madrid we had a fine group of people open to learning in greater depth about the base materials we use in this form of therapy.  We also took a look at the substances animals most commonly choose to deal with common ailments and conditions. Having an 8 week old puppy was a novelty and it was fun seeing him gnaw on a piece of virgin beeswax to relieve symptoms of teething. The cats were fascinating to watch too!

Zoopharmacognosy in Estepona

Marijke said that the word for 2016 is zoopharmacognosy.  I agree.  It is such a wonderful technique which empowers animals to manage their own health both physical, mental and emotional.  Of course this means that we must surrender control: we do not prescribe or force them to have anything, but merely offer it for them to choose or reject as they see fit.  Scooby, Tango, Junior, Tilly and Kalia all chose different remedies and oils because each one is different and has different issues to deal with.  Each one's  reactions and responses were different too. Tango was enthusiastic and fully into his session communicating his preferences unambiguously. Scooby was absolutely clear in his responses too and made a marvellous first model for the course. Kalia was more wary and Tilly was more dispersed in her puppy-like fashion.  Junior was intersting because his main concern seemed to be with physical discomfort rather than behavioural issues.  A great group
